The longstanding music paraprofessional has always been a candidate with a clear background in band/instrumental teaching who largely supports the elementary band teachers in dividing up the students into smaller groups before traveling to the secondary campus to support the bands with small group instruction or other administrative tasks as well as support at our concert.
General Responsibilities:
- Assist with rehearsals and sectionals during the school day by dividing students into group.
- Support students in small group learning.
- Support band directors in planning and executing performances
- Program notes
- Setting up auditorium space
- Copies of music, slideshows, etc.
