Overview
Congressional School seeks highly-motivated, kind and enthusiastic per diem Preschool to 8th Grade Substitute Teachers. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for facilitating a positive classroom environment and implementing a classroom teacher-directed educational program that supports and challenges each student in a developmentally appropriate manner. Candidates must posses a bachelor's degree and should have experience working in a classroom. We call on Substitute Teachers as needed, therefore this role is not available every day.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a positive classroom environment.
- Implement a classroom teacher-directed educational program that supports and challenges each student in a developmentally appropriate manner.
- Provide instruction and classroom management as needed for Preschool to 8th grade learners.
- Collaborate with administrators and other teachers to support student learning when substituting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a classroom.
