Job Description # Sr Applications Engineer

** Falls Church, Virginia (Remote)

* Implement and manage load balancing solutions.
* Perform system administration tasks, with a focus on Windows Administration.
* Install and configure new systems and applications.
* Develop and schedule tasks using Power Shell scripting.
* Manage and maintain relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MS SQL Server and Postgre

SQL.
* Administer Active Directory Services and manage application security, including Single-Sign-On and Certificate Management.
* Ensure reliable network and remote connectivity.
* Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using Documentum or Alfresco.
* Knowledge of Multi-Tier Application Architecture and Infrastructure.
* Proficiency with Application Servers such as Web Logic, JBoss, or Apache.
* Demonstrated experience in load balancing implementation.
* System and applications installation and configuration.
* Power Shell scripting and task scheduling.
* Administration of Active Directory Services and Application Security Management.
* System development experience in Java or .NET.
* Experience with RDBMS, specifically MS SQL Server or Postgre

SQL.
