Title: DoD Operations Specialist

Location: New Orleans, LA

Clearance: Secret

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Work Day: Monday – Friday

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a DoD Operations Specialist to support a federal agency in New Orleans, LA. This role supports operational-level planning, campaign development, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support G3/G5 future operations and planning activities
• Develop operational products, including OPORDs, FRAGOs, and CONOPs
• Assist in campaign plan development and operational design efforts
• Coordinate planning activities with Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs)
• Draft staff products, decision papers, reports, and executive briefings
• Participate in planning conferences, working groups, and exercises
• Provide operational planning subject matter expertise
• Support mission analysis, COA development, and planning integration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related
• Experience supporting a USMC or DoD operational planning environment
• Knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP)
• Experience drafting operational orders and planning documentation
• Experience supporting G3/G5, Division, MEF, or higher headquarters
• Strong written communication and briefing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in joint or combined planning environments
• Exercise or contingency planning support experience
