Great Hill is seeking a Blood Bank SME to support work with Armed Services Blood Program in Falls Church, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
* Perform testing related to blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
* Report on blood product compatibility
* Assess country supply chains including collection, processing and storage capabilities
* Provide reports and briefings to senior leadership

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Hematology) OR minimum three additional years' experience as Clinical Laboratory Scientist
* Minimum three years of experience in clinical laboratory scientist role working with DOD military or civilian customers
* Strong analytical skills and experience with transfusion medicine
* Expertise in blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to assess supply chains Desired
