Canadian Payroll Manager

• Own end‑to‑end Canadian payroll processing, including data validation and payroll submissions
• Partner with third‑party payroll providers to resolve issues and ensure compliance
• Lead initiatives related to payroll system enhancements and transitions
• Respond to employee payroll and benefit inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
• Support Canadian benefits administration and manage year‑end payroll activities

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of payroll experience, ideally with exposure to HR and benefits
• Demonstrated experience managing Canadian payroll operations
• Working knowledge of Canadian benefits administration
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, compliance, and payroll accounting
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Experience supporting or leading a payroll system implementation or transition
• Experience with payroll systems and vendors (e.g., Workday, ADP, Cloud Pay)
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Comfort with AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation
• Continuous learning mindset with openness to emerging technologies
