, a strategic initiative led by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts to develop a secure, cloud-based case management platform supporting more than 204 federal courts nationwide.
GDIT is seeking a Senior Business / Data Analyst to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team within the CMM program. This role focuses on delivering a secure, cloud-native EDW platform that enables statutory reporting, operational analytics, and enterprise data management.
The Senior Business / Data Analyst serves as the primary liaison between federal stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, governed, and transformed into high-quality data solutions. The role supports EDW modernization initiatives by driving requirements management, data mapping, governance coordination, and compliance documentation aligned with project scope and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Requirements & Data Analysis- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for EDW analytics and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mappings (STTMs), workflows, and data specifications.
- Translate statutory, operational, and reporting requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain Agile artifacts including backlogs, user stories, and traceability matrices.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, governance meetings, and working sessions.
- Coordinate data governance activities, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and stewardship decisions.
- Define metadata, business definitions, and data attributes for enterprise data catalogs.
- Ensure requirements incorporate data security, classification, and access control standards.
- Partner with data engineers and architects to validate data models, transformations, and reporting logic.
- Support testing processes including test planning, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, version control, and compliance with Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
- Support training initiatives, change management, and end-user documentation.
- Operate within Agile delivery frameworks supporting multiple scrum teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of documentation, requirements, and project deliverables.
- Maintain accountability for requirements accuracy, traceability, and quality.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Product Owners and Agile teams, including backlog management, user story development, and technical documentation.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise IT or data modernization programs.
- Strong expertise in requirements management, business process modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience supporting EDW, data integration, or analytics initiatives.
- Experience supporting testing, including writing acceptance criteria and validating test outcomes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting federal, judicial, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud-based EDW platforms (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience supporting statutory or compliance-driven reporting.
- Mentoring or leadership experience in analytics or business analysis teams.
- Working knowledge of SQL (analysis-focused).
- Experience with STTM, data mapping, and integration tools.
- Experience validating reporting requirements using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile project management and documentation.

Salary Range: $72,877 – $98,599
(Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.)
