Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS/Dev Ops Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and operations in air-gapped or restricted network environments. The ideal candidate has a strong Linux background, hands-on AWS experience, and proven Dev Ops practices supporting secure, mission-critical systems.
Required Skills:
* 4+ years of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS or Oracle Linux preferred), Python, AWS and git experience.
* 3+ years experience with Dev Ops (configuration management (Ansible preferred), application deployment, security, etc.).
* Strong experience with AWS core services.
* Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
* Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills.
* Ability to work independently in secure, highly controlled environments.
* CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 compliant certificate.
Desired
Skills:
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent.
* AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent.
* Experience delivering, securing and managing container based applications.
* Experience working on Agile Software Teams.
* Experience in supporting DoD customers in a technical environment.
* Experience with government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure etc.).
* Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills.
