* Summary
* We are seeking a motivated _Business Intelligence and Operations Specialist_ to support the modernization of administrative and business processes for our federal government client in Falls Church, Virginia. This role blends hands-on operational support with practical AI implementation experience, making it ideal for a professional who has applied emerging technologies in real-world federal or government-adjacent environments. This role combines operational excellence with practical AI implementation expertise.

The ideal candidate has direct experience using GenAI tools to solve business problems — not just theoretical familiarity — and understands the unique compliance, security, and accuracy standards required in federal program environments. They are a critical thinker who can identify where AI adds genuine value and where human judgment must take precedence.

We are seeking expertise in business intelligence and process improvement, with a demonstrated focus on utilizing AI and data analytics to support informed decision-making.

* Key responsibilities:

* _Business Intelligence and Analytics:_ Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and executive-level visualizations to support operational performance tracking, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Building and maintaining KPI dashboards and financial models that support federal program objectives and reporting requirements.

_Requirements and Process Management:_ Leading requirements gathering with stakeholders and translating complex business needs into user stories, process models, and acceptance criteria. Analyzing existing business processes and recommending practical, scalable improvements aligned with organizational goals.

_AI and Automation:_ Applying GenAI tools to analyze patterns, automate recurring reporting tasks, and improve operational workflows. Designing analytical models to assess how AI tools influence human decision-making and use Gen AI for market and regulatory scans. Identify and implement automation for repetitive workflows.

_Stakeholder and Project Coordination:_ Coordinating with cross-functional and government teams to gather feedback, manage competing priorities, and translate stakeholder requests into clear technical requirements. Supporting project cohesion across distributed teams in a fast-paced federal environment.

_Content and Communication:_ Drafting, reviewing, and critically editing internal and external communications — including AI-assisted content — to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with organizational standards.

· Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field and 2-5 years progressive operational or business intelligence experience

· Proven track record of innovation and process improvement

· Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

· _Demonstrated expertise with various AI tools such as Gemini, Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and AI features in enterprise software like Gen Ai, Ask Sage, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Google Workspace AI._

· _Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI_

· _Extensive knowledge of SharePoint_

· _AI and Automation skills such as RAG, LLM integration, Data workflows, Enterprise AI systems, GenAI, Iterative prompting and Generative BI querying._
