Job Description
Are you a Google Cloud Dev Sec Ops solution builder that has a passion to help Public Sector customers innovate and leverage cloud-based application modernization frameworks? Do you have a track record for using technology for helping customers and partners rapidly innovate and solve the most complex government mission, defense, and intelligence problems? As GDIT a Google Dev Sec Ops Sr.
Principal, you will support the technical relationships with Google, and other top GDIT Dev Sec Ops Partners (Git Lab, Harness), jointly working on new offerings, strategic accounts, and customer innovation initiatives. You will own a Dev Sec Ops portfolio of high-visibility solutions built on and with partners – based in the most sought-after areas of Cloud, Data Modernization, Generative AI code development, and Dev Sec Ops .
Responsibilities
- Generate, pursue, and scope Google Dev Sec Ops business development leads in collaboration with Division Growth leadership
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to build and deliver new joint partner offerings that accelerate customers adoption and mission outcomes
- Contribute to development and drive execution of partner-specific solution strategies that include co-selling, co-marketing, and co-solutioning
- Engage with prospective and current customers internal and external around GDIT/Solution Partner opportunities, including developed partner solutions & related Digital Accelerators
- Support enterprise captures and proposal content where strategic partner relationship is a critical element of win strategy
- Lead development and execution of consultative selling collateral and offerings for GDIT Dev Sec Ops partner solutions
- Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, Google Cloud dev services and others to improve development workflows and automate service deployments
- Implement secure and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and on-premises environments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Collaborate across development, operations, security, and program teams to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient solutions, streamlining application deployments in support of cloud SSPs
- Deploy, manage, and secure Kubernetes clusters (GKE) with a focus on reliability, scalability, and compliance, and demonstrate an understanding of container and Linux host networking
- Implement Dev Sec Ops best practices, including strict configuration management and configuration-as-code, and ensure adherence to federal frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, 800-171, 800-218, CMMC, FISMA, and DoW IL4–IL7
- Federal ATO Dev Sec Ops experience is considered a strong bonus
- Education:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science - Experience:
10+ years of related experience - Experience developing Software Engineering, development and Continuous Delivery and/or Dev Ops related practices:
Pipelines, Data Integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for our CI/CD pipelines, AWS Cloud Formation & Lambda, Kubernetes and Helm - Experience with Git Lab, Nexus, Vagrant, Vault, Packer and Ansible, Security Scanning Tools (Anchore, OSCAP, Twistlock), and Static Code Quality Scanning Tools (Sonar Qube)
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including GKE, GCP sandbox, Cloud Build & Deploy, Cloud Run, App Engine, Anthos, Cloud IAM, IAP, etc.
- Deep understanding and extensive experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes/Docker/Open Shift
- Google Associate level Certification (e.g. Google Developer/Solutions Architect) strongly suggested
- Demonstrated track record building and deploying solutions for US Public Sector or Enterprise customers
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage current and prospective customers (CIOs, CTOs, Program executives, etc.) to build trust and relationships, clearly communicate solutions and concepts, and influence action
- Location:
Washington DC Metro, hybrid - US Citizenship required due to the need to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
