AWS DevOps Engineer

As an experienced AWS/Dev Ops Engineer, you will design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments as part of a data broker modernization effort for military medical situational awareness.

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and operations in air‑gapped or restricted network environments.
• Utilize a strong Linux background, hands‑on AWS experience, and proven Dev Ops practices to support secure, mission‑critical systems.

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Willingness to work onsite 2–3x per week in Falls Church, VA.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, or Oracle Linux), Python, AWS, and Git.
• 3+ years of experience with Dev Ops (configuration management with Ansible preferred, application deployment, and security).
• Strong experience with AWS core services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 compliant certificate.

• Experience working in a federal or public sector environment.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent.
• Experience delivering, securing, and managing container‑based applications.
• Experience working on Agile Software Teams.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical environment.
• Experience with government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the following states:
California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is $126,300—$243,100 USD.
