The Enterprise Performance Management - Business Intelligence (EPM/BI) group at GDIT is looking for a candidate to join its growing Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing team. This is an Oracle Database and PL/SQL development and design position. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining Oracle Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence application platforms as well as provide leadership for IT best practices/methods and approach.

• Design and code PL/SQL procedures
• Actively Participate in the development and learning of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications
• Actively participate with the business users in understanding requirements and execution of projects
• Clearly communicate commitments, issues, completion dates and status with key stakeholders and management
• Play a key role in data modeling and database design
• Maintain availability during core business hours while supporting flexible operational requirements that may include extended daily hours, rotational coverage, weekend monitoring, and occasional deployment support based on mission needs
• Design and build applications following industry standards and best practices

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related degrees and 4+ years experience or in lieu of a degree 8+ years experience
• Required Experience:
  
  4+ years of hands-on experience using Oracle PL/SQL
• Required Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Oracle PL/SQL;
  Strong knowledge of RDBMS design;
  Familiar with Data Warehouse and BI concepts
• Required
  
  Skills and Abilities:
  
  Excellent communication skills;
  Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  Ability to work closely with team members and customers

  Working experience with ETL tools; OAS platform reporting; LINUX/UNIX shell scripting, data visualization, JIRA, JAVA;

  HYBRID with office located in Falls, Church, VA with the expectation the selected individual will work three (3) days per week in office/customer sites as needed

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
