Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Network Engineer in Falls Church, VA. This is a long-term contract opportunity that is Hybrid and offers outstanding benefits.

The Network Engineer will focus on expanding the capabilities of the Network Access Control (NAC) system and will play a key role in current NAC environment and working with a team to add new functionalities.

• Work with the existing NAC system (experience with Fore Scout, Cisco ISE, Clear Pass, or similar NAC solutions)
• Analyze network traffic and device behavior to identify areas for NAC improvement
• Design and implement new NAC functionalities to enhance security posture
• Collaborate with security and network operations teams
• Document procedures and configurations for new NAC features

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with NAC platform, experience with Fore Scout NAC a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including access control principles
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Power Shell) is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
