Section 508 Accessibility Analyst
Pay From: $37 Per Hour
MUST:
The Section 508 Accessibility Analyst must have the following:
- Department of Homeland Security Trusted Tester 5.0 certification
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- 1+ year of experience performing automated and manual accessibility testing and reporting
- 1+ year of experience using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over, Talkback, and others
- Proficient with web accessibility guidelines and Accessibility Conformance Testing rules
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- 1+ year of experience remediating electronic documents for accessibility
- Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) a plus
- Strong knowledge of Accessibility Conformance Testing rules
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Ability to prioritize various projects and adjust to accommodate unexpected changes
- Ability to communicate technical language in an easy-to-understand manner
- Bachelor's Degree
- Evaluate the accessibility of customer websites, mobile applications, and other information and communication
- Perform automated and manual accessibility tests on websites, web-based applications, electronic documents, mobile apps and other ICT
- Perform usability testing
- Remediate inaccessible electronic documents
- Scope accessibility reviews
- Conduct testing
- Document and report findings
- Provide detailed accessibility analysis and recommendations
- Remediate electronic documents
