As a Compliance Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in human research protections, providing oversight, training, and education to Navy commands and research partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape ethical research practices across a global enterprise.

• Provide expert guidance on DoD, Navy, FDA, and federal human research protection regulations
• Conduct compliance site visits and prepare detailed reports
• Review IRB protocols, minutes, and institutional assurances
• Develop and deliver engaging training programs and educational materials
• Lead initiatives to improve training quality and regulatory awareness
• Create content for newsletters and other communications highlighting Navy research and regulatory updates

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience in human subjects protections
• Deep knowledge of 45 CFR 46, FDA regulations, and DoDI 3210.02 (required)
• CIP certification or eligibility strongly preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with virtual training tools and instructional design
• Proficiency in MS Office;
  Adobe InDesign and SharePoint a plus
• S. citizenship and ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
• Willingness to travel (10–15 days/year, domestic and international)
• Willing to physically work in Falls Church, Virginia at least 3 days a week.
