Contract Electronics Assembly Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Directly interfaces with and proactively supports Engineers, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance Manager.
• Electronic and mechanical assembly.
• Installs components, units, and printed circuit boards following specifications.
• Use electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Customizes, adjusts, or repairs units according to written specifications.
• Fabricates parts, cables, and test fixtures.
• Supports Quality Assurance with receiving inspection and testing, and shipping.
• Acceptance testing of products according to approved procedures.

Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in electronics preferred.
• 5 years of related technical experience.
• Excellent soldering skills with surface-mounted components.
• IPC-A-610 certification required.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as a multimeter, signal generator, oscilloscope, and audio analyzer.
• Solid computer & typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work well independently and as a member of a team.
• Organization and ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee).

This is a Contract position based out of Falls Church, VA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
