• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living < 50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Must have 3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases. These include but are not limited to:
Coronary Artery Bypass:
Primary and redo’s;
Aortic aneurysms; AVR’s & MVR’s:
Primary and redo’s; TAVR’s; ECMO; VAD’s.

• Shift Expectations: 6a-430p/9a-730p or 6a-730p.
• Weekend:
  Rotated based on department need.
• On-Call: 8-10 shifts (including 1-2 weekends) per 6 week schedule (approximately 1 week per month).
• Holidays: 1 major summer & winter;
  Rotated based on dept need.
• Understand overtime may be necessary.
• Call is required.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 3.
