Job specification

• Oversee the daily operations of the adult behavioral health unit, including staffing, scheduling, and productivity management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff, including competencies and certifications.
• Act as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and physicians to promote satisfaction, and assist with recruitment and retention of nursing personnel.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• 3+ years of psychiatric nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
