RN Profession:
Nursing Specialty: CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 10 hours Hours per

Shift: 7 PM - 5:30 AM, Monday to Thursday

Experience:

3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. License:
Active RN license

Certifications:

BLS required (must be AHA), CNOR preferred Must-Have:

- Must scrub and circulate.

- Primarily scrub role.

- Required summer holiday (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day) and winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) based on departmental needs.

- Requested time off must be added to the end of contracts for a full 13 working weeks.

- Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills is essential.

- Excellent communication skills and a team player.

- Participation in professional activities of the department.

Description:

Must have experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. Experience should include coronary artery bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD. Adult experience required; pediatric experience is a plus. Understanding of shift expectations and departmental needs is required. Rotating weekend obligations may be based on departmental needs. On-call expectations are necessary, including potential early morning hours post-shift.

Participation in ongoing research protocols may be required.
