Position Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

• Work 12‑hour day/night rotation shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) including day before, day of, and day after, plus as needed
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 in CVICU, 1:3 in step‑down units
• Primary assignment between CICU and CVICU with first float to other ICUs including step‑down, progressive care, IMC, and tele units
• Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips
• Manage and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Care for post‑op CABG, heart and lung transplant, cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure management, cardiac arrhythmia, lysis, post IR/PCI procedures, and TEVAR patients
• Use Epic EMR system
• Dress code:
  Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, navy blue or white jackets
• 2‑shift floor orientation provided
• No on‑call requirements

• 2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience
• Recent competency with VV/VA ECMO, IABP, TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, and PA Catheter Guided Therapy
• Required certifications: VA RN License/Compact License, BLS, ACLS
