Description:
Neuro RN agency contract specific. Candidate must have experience in a busy surgical environment. Will be required to take call on weekdays and weekends. Weekday call includes 2 shifts of 8 hours from . Weekend call includes 3 shifts of 12 hours scheduled from or . A 45-minute response time is required for on-call duties. In the event of multiple traumas, the neuro/crani call team may be called in for support.
Candidate should be prepared to float to other service lines in the OR as needed. Holidays require 1 major and 1 minor holiday commitment based on the timing of the contract. The OR contains 28 rooms. The electronic medical record system is Epic. The department averages 75-90 cases per day. RN scrubbing skills and experience are ideal for this position.
Examples of required experience include simple one-level spine fusion up to complex ten-plus level deformity corrections, spine tumors, complex cranial tumors, neurovascular cases, and neuro trauma.
