Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. This role will be Full-time Day

Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week; 7:00am-7:00pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Provides skilled, compassionate care and coordinates patient care.

Registered Nurse (RN) Additional Requirements:



Work schedule:

Full-time Day

Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m | 8 hours of on call per 6 week schedule | 3 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule | One major one minor Holiday



Education:

BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.



Experience:

Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.

• Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units:
Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire

• Licensure:
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license

Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of recent inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) experience on a Labor and Delivery Unit.

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
