Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated OR Services Leader to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. This role will be Full-time Night Shift: Full-time Night Shift: 40 hours per week, 2x12 and 2x8 hour shifts per week.. R relocation assistance available to eligible candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads Operating Room services to ensure efficient unit operations and optimal patient outcomes
- Delivery safe, high-quality, and cost-effective preoperative care
- Serves as clinical leader, liaison, and resource for assigned surgical specialty/unit
- Ensures compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and Joint Commission standards
- Identifies and implements cost-effective strategies without compromising patient safety
- Promotes innovation and continuous improvement in preoperative nursing practices
- Coaches and mentors staff, supporting clinical decision-making and professional development
- Utilizes AORN tools and best practices to drive high-quality surgical care delivery
- Collaborates on emergency preparedness, training, and unit-specific drills
Minimum Requirements:
- Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Experience: Required 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | CNOR or equivalent specialty certification within 12 mos of hire
- Required Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) inpatient experience on a Labor and Delivery Unit.
- BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing)
- Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
