Duties
* You will develop and oversee enterprise-level Occupational Medicine (OM) policy for the Department of Navy (DON) and helps ensure the delivery of OM services to Navy and Marine Corps activties.
* You will review, analyze and update current DON and Department of War (DOW) policies and develop new DON policies to address issues that arise.
* You will prepare informational products, decision briefs, and presentations as needed to inform senior leaders of key Public Health (PH) issues.
* You will provide technical medical consultant guidance when indicated on selected individual immunization-related Religious Accommodation Waivers.
* You will coordinate with various non-DOW, U.S. Government agencies to address problems that may arise. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Experience The work experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. At the GS-9 and above grade level, many positions may require experience in a specialty area of nursing. FOR THE GS-14, In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Developing and managing Occupational Health programs;
* Monitoring, evaluating, and recommending Occupational Health resource needs;
* Providing professional expertise and consultation in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Occupational Health programs;
Interpreting Occupational Health program needs;
* Experience recommending Occupational Health Policies;
