Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club. Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. Maintains the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.

• Meet GOLD club standards: work as a team to deliver a GOLD‑Grand opening look daily, ensure all items are stocked and promotional plans executed, maintain visible accurate signage, and keep the club clean and organized inside and out.
• Know your business:
  Understand how to read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department and see the connection between consistent execution and its impact on the business.
• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food items.
• Create and apply labels and merchandise sales tags; ensure all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Remove trash and cardboard from the club to maintain a neat and clean environment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.

• Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Mostly moving continuously on hard surfaces.
• Frequently positioning oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
• Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects with assistance.
• Work environment is typically comfortable indoor with heavy machinery and loud equipment, possibly requiring shouting to be heard.
• Possible exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non‑discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.83 per hour.
