Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Rounds Associate in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location as an unarmed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security‑related incidents through your visible presence and strong communication.

In this people‑first role, you will assist patients, visitors, and staff while delivering service with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

  • Mon: 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tue: 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, hallways, waiting areas, and other assigned locations within a healthcare environment, assisting with visitor directions, access control activities, and policy compliance.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with patients, staff, visitors, and first responders during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid training is preferred and may be completed post‑hire.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
