Security Officer Patrol Console – Falls Church, VA

Part Time

$18.90 / Hour

• Saturday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and residential amenities, verify permitted entry when required, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or vendors regarding property rules and expectations.
• Support the location by observing environmental conditions, reporting maintenance-related or security-related concerns, and following post orders for daily operations and incident response.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
