Responsibilities

This position develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.

Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Work as point of contact for alarms/response and work closely with the Enterprise Security Control Center (ESCC).

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and process required documentation in support of the SAP nomination processes
  • Prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and JADE, and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with customer tracking requirements
  • Process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control
  • Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
  • Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
  • Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
  • Assist with the administration of security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Studies and implements U.S. security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Assists with preparing manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to records and materials.
  • Maintains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program.
  • Assists with all manner of security inspections, including self-inspections, CSA inspections, and internal inspections, as required.
  • Supporting corporate office security requirements, including emergency response, crisis management, and executive engagements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience to include industrial security or related disciplines OR Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree with 7 years of experience OR High School Diploma with 9 years of experience.
  • Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI access.
  • Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 and ICD security standards as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical and information security principles.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
