Field Technician

Join TSP Contracting as a Field Assistant and be part of our growing team in the construction industry. As a Field Technician, you will assist with a variety of construction, remodeling, restoration, and repair projects. This role requires hands‑on experience in one or more construction trades and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform construction, repair, restoration, and remodeling work as assigned
• Assist with demolition, installation, repairs, and project completion activities
• Follow project plans, specifications, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with Crew Leads, Project Managers, and team members
• Identify and report job site issues, material needs, or safety concerns
• Deliver quality workmanship while meeting project schedules

• Minimum 3-5 years of construction industry experience
• Experience with remodeling, restoration, residential, and commercial projects
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Plumbing systems, fixture installation, repairs, and piping
• Carpentry including framing, trim work, cabinetry, drywall, and finish carpentry
• Tile installation, including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, waterproofing, layout, cutting, and grout installation
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and job site procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift materials and work in various construction environments
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required
