We are looking for an experienced Sr. Embedded Software Engineer responsible for architecture, design, development & testing of Check Video's flagship product assets. Additional duties include writing high performance, scalable & secure software to meet customer demands.

• Design, develop, test & deploy Check Video'sembedded software
• Develop in a Linux environmentusingsourcecodecodesystemand deployment pipelines
• Gain and maintainexpertise in board design,BSP,SoCand peripheral control firmware
• Maintain and updatesecure production software as necessary
• Scale and tune for performance to meet production demand
• Follow SDLC best practices for scalability, reliability & observability

• Education:
  
  Bachelor'sdegree required;
  
  Advanced degree preferred
• Experience:
  
  10+ years of developing firmwarefor mass marketon Embedded Linux stacks
• SDLC and programming languages:
  
  C, C++,Python,Go,Rust, Shell scripting
• Parallel processing & concurrency:
  
  Multiprocessing, Multithreading, IPC
• Media:
  
  Experience with video/audioencoding andstreaming
• AI Training & Inference:
  
  LLM, Deep Learning,Computer Vision,PyTorch,Tensor Flow
• Source codecontrolsystems:
  
  Git,Bitbucket
• Dev Sec Opstools :
  
  Jenkins, Gitlab, Git Ops
• Operations:
  
  Strong skills in troubleshooting production issues

Helpful but not required:

• Experience with camera optics, ISP tuning and video processing
