Warehouse Receiving TechnicianLocation: Falls Church, VA
Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Warehouse Receiving Technician to support day‑to‑day inbound materials operations. This role manages the loading dock, receives, documents, inspects, and delivers materials to internal departments in a timely and organized manner. The position involves significant physical activity, including walking and lifting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the facility’s loading dock: receiving, unloading, and staging inbound materials.
- Verify accuracy of incoming shipments by checking purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and promptly raise issues.
- Accurately record receipt information in the warehouse management or ticketing systems, such as Service Hub.
- Operate electric and non‑electric pallet jacks to move materials.
- Assemble carts and unbox displays, hardware, and printers.
- Stock the data center with imaging devices, peripherals, and other hardware.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, including trash removal.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as imaging and networking, to ensure accurate delivery of materials.
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving, stock, inventory, maintenance, or a similar operational role.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the role, including extensive walking.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Shift starts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. for an 8‑hour shift. Overtime may be available with prior authorization.
