URGE FITNESS is seeking energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front Desk & Kids Club Associates. This dual-role position is ideal for candidates who enjoy delivering exceptional member service while creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.
Base Pay Range$10.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Position SummaryThe Front Desk & Kids Club Associate is often the first and last point of contact for our members and guests. This role requires a consistently upbeat, friendly, and professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to actively engage with children while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
Key Responsibilities- Greet all members, guests, and prospective members with a positive, high-energy, and welcoming attitude at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring each interaction reflects the URGE FITNESS brand.
- Check members and guests in and out using membership software and verify access credentials.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to basic inquiries, and direct questions to appropriate staff or management.
- Assist with new member sign‑ins, guest passes, and general facility information.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Enforce club policies and procedures courteously and consistently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Actively engage with children ages 3 months to 11 years in a fun, attentive, and developmentally appropriate manner.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety, well‑being, and enjoyment.
- Participate in age‑appropriate play, activities, and interaction throughout the entire shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Kids Club environment.
- Follow all Kids Club policies, check‑in/check‑out procedures, and safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding their child’s experience.
- Stock and replenish basic janitorial and facility supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, sanitizer, cleaning and hygiene products).
- Assist with light cleaning and organization of front desk, Kids Club, and common areas as needed.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 45 pounds consistently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an active, high‑energy fitness environment.
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
