Substitute K-12 Teachers Needed

Falmouth School Department has immediate openings for substitute teachers. Subbing can be an excellent opportunity for those who need or want a part time schedule or for those wishing to pursue a career in education allowing for the opportunity to experience teaching in multiple grade levels, schools and subject areas.

To be considered for a substitute position you must have the following qualifications:

• Be eligible to obtain Maine CHRC certification
• Pass a background check (conducted by the district)
• Completed two years of college

Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools. Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award: student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments.
