BCBA and Special Education Case Manager

Falmouth Elementary School is in search of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who also has certification as a special education teacher to provide BCBA services, Ed Tech training and supervision, and case management services to students in grades K-2. This is a unique position where the BCBA would oversee services for a small number of students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

The program includes a high adult to student ratio and additional support provided by a school social worker, special education strategist, and, as needed, district-level BCBA.

• Develop and implement positive behavior support plans
• Train and support educational technicians with implementation of positive behavior supports
• Serve as case manager for a small caseload (5-7) of students with IEPs whose behavior impacts progress in school
• Write behavioral and functional goals and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with related service providers (e.g., OT, Speech/Language, Social Work) and general education teachers to support student progress and access to learning
• Communicate and collaborate with parents

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Special education teacher certification (282 or 286)
• Experience in public school settings working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities

Initial salary placement is determined by verifiable years of experience and completed educational credits, in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.
