RN Surg/Ortho We are seeking a skilled Surgical/Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures and those with orthopedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, surgical sites, mobility, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Provide post-operative and orthopedic care, including wound care and mobility support.
- Educate patients and families on medications, recovery, mobility, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, therapists, and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety and infection prevention standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license as required by the state.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous surgical, orthopedic, medical-surgical, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
