Responsibilities- 1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional and regulatory standards.
- 2. Oversee and manage all general ledger activities.
- 3. Review and analyze revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and balance sheets.
- 4. Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- 5. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- 6. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- 7. Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- 8. Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate close and reporting timelines, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
- 9. Work closely with other team members to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reports.
- 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.
- 2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- 3. Proficiency in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- 4. Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), healthcare accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- 5. Proficiency in using advanced features of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- 6. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- 9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- 10. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
