School Year

(Part Time: 15 hrs/week plus additional as needed)

Job Goals:
To support students with disabilities in order to facilitate their inclusion in general education courses at Cape Cod Community College.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* HS Diploma or GED required

* Associates Degree (preferred)

* Knowledge and understanding of Special Education and General Education Instruction

* Successful experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities, interests, and needs

* Such other alternatives as the Superintendent may deem acceptable and appropriate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide on-campus (Cape Cod Community College) support to assigned MAIHE student(s) during scheduled classes

* Direct support at FHS for coursework completion, assisting student(s) with assignments

* Facilitate student participation in classes and social interactions outside of class with peers when appropriate

* Foster communication between the students and instructors regarding accommodations as needed

* Liaison between Falmouth High School and the MAICEI Program Coordinator to maintain current information about MAICEI students' progress or needs.

* Attend assigned trainings as offered by the Department of Higher Education (DHE), Cape Cod Community College, and/or Falmouth Public Schools

* Such other responsibilities may from time to time be assigned by the Principal, Special Education Building Administrator, Director of Student Services, or Superintendent

REPORTS TO:

This position reports to the Falmouth High School Special Education Building Administrator, Principal and/or the Director of Student Services.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2025-26 School Year, hours TBD based on the courses selected by the student, and up to an additional 6 hrs per month for meetings and trainings as scheduled.

SALARY:
In accordance with FEA Unit C contract
