Job DescriptionESY Connect Program Teaching Assistants
Summer Program:
July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026
3 days (Tue - Thur), 9:00AM - 12:00PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Ability and desire to work with children with Special Education.
- Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of one or more special education teachers.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Student Services may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in a small group and/or on a one-to-one basis with students as assigned by the teacher.
- Willingness to be trained in specific behavioral techniques.
- Attend in-service training sessions that pertain to special education.
- Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the classroom teacher, the Extended Year Coordinator, and / or the Director of Student Services.
Salary: Current FPS Teaching Assistants will be paid their 2025-26 regular rate of pay.
External Candidates - $19.00/hr.
