ESY TIP/TLC Secondary (Grade 7 - post-secondary) Program Special Needs Teachers

Summer Program: July 7, 2025 - August 14, 2025 (Mon-Thu, 7:45AM - 1:15PM)

• Massachusetts licensure in moderate or severe disabilities required, severe disabilities preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as an inclusion special education teacher or as a special education teacher of a substantially separate program.
• Other qualifications as deemed acceptable by the Director of Student Services.

• Serve as lead teacher providing direct instruction to students with Special Education in accordance with their IEPs.
• Work in concert with other Special Education staff, related services providers, specialists, and administrative personnel to develop and implement viable extended year programming for special education students.
• Complete progress reports, behavior support plans, communication logs, data sheets, and other data as required by local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Work with teaching assistants to facilitate programming for the students.
• Participate in staff meetings, provide updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians. Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Student Services and the Extended School Year Coordinator.

Salary: In accordance with FEA contract ($45 to $45 Per Hour)
