ESY Academic Instructors Summer 26
Summer Program: July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026
Schedule: 3 days (Tue - Thurs) available for hours between 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Qualifications- Massachusetts licensure in moderate disabilities required.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of specially designed instruction in one or more areas (e.g., Reading, Math, ELA, Wilson, LIPS, Orton Gillingham) as an inclusion special education teacher or as a special education teacher of a substantially separate program.
- Other alternatives as deemed acceptable by the Director of Student Services.
- Provide direct individual and/or small group instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs.
- Work in concert with other Special Education staff, related services providers, specialists, and administrative personnel to develop and implement viable extended year programming for special education students.
- Complete progress reports, behavior support plans, communication logs, data sheets, and other data as required by local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings as needed, providing updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians.
- Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Student Services and the Extended School Year Coordinator.
In accordance with FEA contract. $45 to $45 per hour.
