SummaryThe Recovery Aide acts as the lead liaison between staff; communicates directly with nurses, counselors, and medication specialists on duty; contacts Program Director and Director of Nursing when issues arise. This role is responsible for assisting patients and families in the behavioral health system to enhance their recovery and promote wellness. The Recovery Aide must have experience, training, and/or education in the field of addiction.
EssentialJob Functions / Duties / Responsibilities
- Monitor high‑risk patients by assisting with participation, providing support and redirection to reduce recovery‑interfering behaviors, and enhancing engagement to reduce AMA/ACAs. Report outcomes to Program Director, Director of Nursing, and RA Supervisor via daily emails.
