Nursing Assistant or -Train​/Trainee, ICU; Summer Temp

Purpose of Position

Nursing Assistant Performs as a member of the Nursing Team various duties assisting Staff Nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Practices according to entity mandatory requirements.
• Practices according to department expectations.
• Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities.
• Provides care for patients according to facility/agency, Joint Commission, and the law.
• Provides care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Documents according to facility/agency and department policies.
• Prioritizes duties according to patient and department needs.
• Meets the needs of the patient/family using internal and external resources.
• Uses appropriate physical resources/equipment in a safe manner.
• Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults.
• Provides quality care for patients.
• Performs room maintenance duties.
• Performs administrative and other duties as needed.

• Must be a Certifies Nursing Assistant.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Reads, Speaks, Writes in English.

Summer Temp, 48PP (24 hrs. per week), Rotating Eves, 3p-11p, Rotating Weekend & Rotating Holidays (ICU)
