Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float

Location: Falmouth, MA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float position in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and deliver safe, high-quality nursing care. Candidates must have strong Med/Surg Telemetry experience, IV therapy skills, and phlebotomy experience. Travel nursing experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience

• Previous travel nursing experience required

• Phlebotomy experience required

• IV Therapy experience required

• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module

• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide total nursing care for assigned patients

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care

• Administer medications safely and accurately

• Manage patients on telemetry monitoring

• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy procedures

• Provide patient and family education

• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

• Manage patients with chest drainage devices

• Care for post-operative and orthopedic patients

• Respond appropriately to emergency and urgent situations

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Manage pain control and end-of-life care needs

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards

• Float between facilities as needed
