Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care
Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts

Job Highlights
  • 13-week assignment with high possibility of extension
  • Competitive weekly pay: $1,900 - $2,240 (local & travel candidates)
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Supportive long-term care environment
Schedule
  • Rotating night shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Rotating holidays
Job Overview
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting
  • Support residents' physical, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Lead and guide nursing assistants during assigned shifts
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise daily activities of nursing assistants per facility policies and regulations
  • Plan and coordinate shift-based services, programs, and resident care activities
  • Complete admission, transfer, and discharge documentation accurately and timely
  • Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, including telephone orders
  • Maintain clear and detailed nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident response
  • Communicate new admissions, room assignments, and care updates to nursing staff
  • Coordinate with physicians to ensure treatment plans and orders are reviewed and signed
  • Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required
  • Perform nursing administrative and clinical duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience, preferably in long-term care
  • Active, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license (required prior to start)
  • BLS / CPR and AED certification required
