Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Shift Length: 8 Hours
Pay Rate: $1500 - $2100/week (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care team in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, support resident well-being, and collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate resident care activities and support quality patient care initiatives.
- Encourage attending physicians to review treatment plans, progress notes, and physician orders.
- Receive and accurately document physician telephone orders.
- Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift activities and resident care services.
- Complete and maintain required admission, transfer, and discharge documentation.
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current, active, and unrestricted Massachusetts LPN License.
- BLS / CPR Certification.
- AED Certification.
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of LPN experience required.
