Summary:


The Woodwell Climate Research Center 2027 Summer Internship Program provides a comprehensive 11-week, hands-on learning experience in Falmouth, MA, offering speaker events with senior leadership and professional networking opportunities across operations and science departments.

• Compensation: Minimum wage $15.00 per hour (temporary, non-exempt) or equivelant
• Work Schedule: Full-time (typically 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday).
• Duration: 11 weeks (maximum 90 days), starting June 2027.
• Work Formats: Onsite, hybrid, and remote options available.

Participating Departments

• Operations Teams: Human Resources, Finance (Accounting, Sponsored Research, Grants & Contracts), Development (Fundraising), Policy and Government Relations, and Marketing & Communications.
• Science & Research Teams: Carbon, Water, Arctic, Wildfire, Lab, Field, and general research opportunities.

Located on a 10-acre campus near the village of Woods Hole, the Woodwell Climate Research Center (Woodwell) is a private, non-profit research center.
