The Steamship Authority is currently seeking to fill an entry level, full-time Carpenter position.
Qualifications and certifications required:- The applicant should have graduated from a vocational technical high school or institute with a focus in carpentry or have 2 to 5 years of experience in general carpentry.
- Applicant must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's license and should also hold a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractors License, Construction Supervisors License and Lead Certification Certificate.
- Applicant must be fully skilled and able to work from sketches and plans and be knowledgeable of the current Commonwealth of Massachusetts building code standards.
The starting pay is $40.80 per hour.
