Position: Marine (Towage) Engineer

The Company is looking to recruit Marine Engineers for the Port Operations / Towage department, to assist the Chief Engineers on our harbour tugs.

The Port Operations department provides coverage 24/7 and successful candidates will be required to cover towage operations outside of normal weekday hours to cover shipping movements in and outside of the Port of Falmouth; this commitment is essential to the operations of the Tugs.

Ideally, candidates will have the following relevant qualifications and the necessary seagoing service/experience:

Experience of working with harbour tugs and/or vessels up to 750KW (this would be advantageous and preferable)

A minimum qualification of Marine Engine Operators Licence (MEOL) is required

All STCW short course tickets including recent amendments

A valid ENG1 medical certificate

Where partial qualifications have been achieved, further training may be provided to attain and meet the relevant required MCA standards.
