Cleaner​/Housekeeper

, recently rated ‘Top 20 Mid-Size Nursery Group’ by Day Nurseries, has a vacancy for an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Team.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness of a children’s day nursery, which provides care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

• COSHH and Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
• Chemicals, cleaning agents and cleaning utensils which may be a danger to children, staff and visitors are locked away following use.
• Reporting any maintenance issues directly to the Nursery Management team.
• Your awareness of Child Protection, Safeguarding and being able to report any concerns and adhere to company Policies and Procedures.

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential)
• Good attention to detail and organisation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Working hours - Monday-Friday 17:30-20:30 15hrs a week

Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Salary - £9,711.00
