School Catering Supervisor

About the role

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part‑time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Catering Supervisor you will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver truly incredible food experiences. • Prepare delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service
• Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams

• Passionate about great‑tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Minimum two years of catering experience
• Experience managing teams in a similar role
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious and motivated individual always looking to up‑skill
