About the role
We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part‑time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Catering Supervisor you will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver truly incredible food experiences. Key Responsibilities- Prepare delicious food to the highest standards
- Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service
- Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
- Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations
- Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
- Passionate about great‑tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Minimum two years of catering experience
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and motivated individual always looking to up‑skill
